Italians from Ferrari are ready to unveil their first-ever electric vehicle, dubbed the Ferrari Elettrica. The world premiere of this model is scheduled for spring next year, stirring excitement among automotive enthusiasts. The Ferrari Elettrica will maintain the classic form of a two-door sports coupe, ensuring that the brand's iconic design elements remain intact. As the firm redefines its approach to electric vehicles, the commitment to style and performance remains evident. The chassis will largely be crafted from aluminum, contributing to a lightweight structure that optimizes performance. The Elettrica will feature a bespoke transmission, incorporating two electric motors with a total output of 1000 horsepower. Notably, the rear motor will generate three times more power than its front counterpart, ensuring robust all-wheel drive capabilities. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is promising, taking just 2.5 seconds, which aligns with the high-performance standards associated with the brand. A substantial 122 kWh battery will power the vehicle, leading to an overall weight approaching three tons.
